LESSON CANCELLATION
Unlike some driving schools, we do not request tuition fees in advance, we therefore ask pupils to give us as much notice as possible when changing appointment times or length of lesson. This is to allow us time to allocate the appointment to another pupil. Tuition fees are payable on the day of the driving lesson. If you need to cancel a lesson or change the length of the lesson, for any reason, please give 24 hours notice. If we do not receive 24 hours notice the full lesson fee may still be payable.
Your instructor will do everything possible to ensure that your lessons start and finish on time, but reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change lesson lengths and times under certain circumstances. These include dangerous weather conditions and mechanical/technical problem with instructor’s car.
In the event of lesson changes by the instructor, lesson fees paid in advance, or an appropriate proportion thereof, will be carried forward – with no loss to the pupil.
DRIVING TESTS
We cannot be held responsible for postponement of driving tests by The Driving Standards Agency.
In the interest of all pupils, public safety and the safety of the driving test examiners, your driving instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of the driving school vehicle for the test. This action would only be taken if, in the instructor’s expert opinion, the pupils’ standard of driving on the test day is actually (or potentially) dangerous and therefore not up to test standard. |
